Construction Safety Manager
Location: Fargo, ND
Duration: 4 Months (Start 11/10)
Type: 1099 Contractor

Position Details
  • Hourly Rate: $56/HR (local) $49/HR (non-local)

  • Per Diem: $150/Day on seven days if over 50 miles

  • Completion Bonus: $150/month

  • Pay Frequency: Weekly

  • Schedule: 60 hours; Monday - Saturday, 6 10's

Project Scope

Safety Manager overseeing the safety of concrete, rebar & masonry on a large data center.

Qualifications
  • OSHA 30
  • Must have experience with concrete, rebar, and/or masonry
  • 3+ years of construction safety experience
  • Data center experience preferred
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments

  • Support incident investigations, report findings, and implement corrective actions

  • Deliver safety training and orientation for employees, subcontractors, and new hires

  • Collaborate with project teams to proactively identify safety risks and mitigate hazards

  • Maintain safety performance, incident, and compliance documentation and reports

  • Promote a safety-first culture across all levels of the organization

Skills & Knowledge

Skills:

  • Excellent public speaking and communication abilities

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively

  • Professionalism and confidentiality with sensitive information

Knowledge:

  • Strong understanding of EHS and industry regulatory standards in construction

  • Ability to effectively communicate safety principles and regulations
