Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing day‑to‑day operations of the power distribution team, including staff development, project profitability, team morale, quality assurance, client support, and marketing support.
  • Serve as an Assistant Project Manager, Project Manager, or technical lead on power distribution projects and assist in responsibility for project production as needed while supporting broader team management responsibilities.
  • Support administrative oversight of technical staff and service functions, ensuring alignment with company goals and industry standards.
  • Assist and lead coordination efforts with other internal teams (e.g., environmental, civil, geotechnical) to deliver integrated solutions for power distribution clients as needed.
  • Participate in business development activities including marketing strategy, proposal development, and client interviews as needed.
  • Engage directly with private and public sector clients to support project delivery, resolve technical challenges, and build long‑term relationships.
  • Assist in ensuring that all work is planned, organized, controlled, and evaluated through proactive project management system.
  • Implement and uphold company policies, safety standards, and compliance with industry regulations.
  • Assist in the recruiting, training, development, and management of technical personnel.
  • Collaborate with Business Group Leaders to support local marketing, pursuit, and project execution efforts.
  • Collaborate with National Directors and marketing teams to support local and national power distribution initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • 7 years related experience.
  • A minimum of 2 years project management experience.
  • Requires professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position offered. Example: Professional Engineer (PE or P.Eng) license.
  • MS Office and MS Project experience is required (Access experience would be plus).
  • Demonstrated leadership skills.
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee‑owned culture is a must.
