Job Information

The primary objective of this position is to develop and maintain the business, manufacturing, and engineering application programs and systems that enable the company's business processes.

Role & Responsibility

• Provide development and support for software applications in assigned areas (e.g., business, manufacturing, dealer systems, and engineering).
• Utilize language skills appropriate to those environments (e.g., SQL, Object-Oriented Programming Experience (.NET, JAVA)).
• Demonstrate familiarity with Database Management Systems.
• Evaluate, comprehend, and author functional and technical documentation write-ups.
• Develop application systems that are cost-effective and flexible in design.
• Provide technical applications support to the Help Desk as required.
• Support corporate and business unit's information technology strategies.

Job Requirement

• Jr. or Sr. standing seeking a Bachelor's Degree in MIS or Computer Science.
• 3.0 or higher GPA preferred.
• Commit to Doosan Information and Communications America for the entire term of the co-op (8 months).
• Understand business requirement documents and develop systems that meet business needs.
• Follow written instructions.
• Be knowledgeable in PC hardware and software.
• Possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Demonstrate strong Interpersonal skills.
• Show strong Troubleshooting Skills.
• Work under pressure, prioritize, and manage workload.
• Complete assigned activities and meet milestones.
• Multitask technical tasks efficiently.
• Work effectively in a multi-culture and multi-language environment.
• 0-2 years of experience required.
• Less than 10% travel required.
