MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE NEEDED

Must be 16 years old with a valid North Dakota driver's license.

JOB SUMMARY

Provide transportation of deceased individuals under the direction of the Chief Deputy Coroner. Assist coroner, deputy coroner, and death investigations with transportation as requested.

Specific instructions will be given from the Coroner and Chief Deputy Coroner concerning transportation. This will primarily be transport of deceased individuals from the Cass County morgue to the UND Pathology morgue in Grand Forks and their return. This will include transfer of deceased individuals in and out of the vehicle and between a transport cart and a morgue gurney.

• Must be willing to work variable hours, including holidays and weekends.
• Must be able to drive long distances.
• Must have excellent interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to transfer (not lift) 150 lbs.
