In this position, candidates will be working in a metal recycling shop alongside two other laborers. The metal that comes in is differentiated between ferrous and non-ferrous (magnetic vs non-magnetic). Duties include: using general computer skills to log information into the system when trucks are being weighed, receiving non-ferrous metals into the scaling shop, sorting through different materials and separating (copper, aluminum, brass, lead, etc.), operating machines to compact product, stacking crates, and general shop upkeep duties. Shift: Monday through Friday - 8am to 5pm (Lunch from 12pm to 1pm). Receiving is closed from 11:30am to 1pm for lunch period. Skills include general labor, construction, production, machine operation, computer operation, forklift, cleaning, packaging, and sorting. Top skills details include general labor, construction, production, machine operation, and computer operation. Additional skills and qualifications include forklift, which would be a huge plus but is not required. Must be able to work on feet for entirety of shift. Experience Level: Entry Level. Job Type & Location: This is a contract to hire position based out of Fargo, ND. Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $24.47 - $24.47/hr.
