FORKLIFT OPERATOR/MATERIAL HANDLER
Typical schedule is Monday-Thursday 7a.m. - 5:30 p.m. (Busy season will include Fridays)
The Forklift Operator/Material Handler is responsible for maintaining inventory in an assigned department by loading and unloading pallets of metal products with a forklift.
Essential Job Functions:
* Efficiently and accurately load and unload of products and supplies operating a forklift
* Ensure the proper and safe loading and unloading of products for easy accessibility
* Inspect forklifts and other equipment to ensure its in safe working condition
* Operate forklift safely and according to the safe operating procedures
* Assist with maintaining an organized and clean warehouse
* Proper packing, labeling, and tagging of the inventory
* Conducting cycle counts of inventory
Qualifications:
* 2 years of forklift operation experience preferred
* Ability to multi-task, handle multiple priorities and work in a repetitive and fast-paced environment
* Ability to work outdoors routinely
Physical Demands:
* Routinely walking, standing, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing, stooping, reaching, and handling
Pre-employment drug screens required
