Sheet Metal Installer

We are seeking skilled Sheet Metal Installers to join our team for a year-long commercial project in Jamestown, ND, and Ellendale, ND. The role primarily involves assembling and hanging ducts to the ceilings and walls of the facility. This position requires a commitment of at least six months, with work scheduled Monday through Friday, 40-50 hours per week. Lodging must be secured and funded by the hired contractors in either Ellendale, ND, or Aberdeen, SD.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and hang sheet metal ducts to ceilings and walls.
• Work collaboratively with a team to ensure efficient installation.
• Use various tools such as C clamp vice grip, regular vice grip, 16 oz sheet metal hammer, flathead screwdriver, utility knife, wide nose pliers, and left/right hand cut snips.
• Follow blueprints and use measuring tools for accurate installation.
• Be flexible and willing to move between projects as needed.

Essential Skills

• Experience in sheet metal or HVAC duct installation.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Proficiency in using measuring tools.
• Comfortable working at heights and in varying weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Previous experience in a data center environment is a plus.
• Experience working in outdoor elements typical of North Dakota.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $40.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
