Join Our Team as a Warehouse Loader

Hours: Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm. No weekends!

Salary Range: $18.00 - $19.93 per hour

What You'll Do:
  • Safely load doors and materials into delivery trucks, ensuring products are handled with care to prevent damage.
  • Use appropriate equipment (e.g., forklifts, hand trucks) to move doors within the warehouse.
  • Read and verify outgoing shipments using production sheets and work tickets.
  • Accurately record material information in the inventory management system.
  • Inspect doors for any damages or defects before shipment.
  • Install protective devices, such as bracing, padding, or strapping, to prevent shifting or damage to items being transported.
  • Report any discrepancies or quality issues to the Warehouse Foreman.
  • Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.
  • Maintain material moving equipment in good working condition.
  • Work closely with other warehouse staff to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding task priorities and any issues that arise.
What We're Looking For:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or loading role, preferably involving doors or similar products.
  • Familiarity with warehouse equipment and operations.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
  • Basic computer skills for inventory management.
  • Excellent time management and reliability.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
  • Extended periods of standing and walking throughout the shift.
  • Frequently lifting and carrying materials weighing up to 50 lbs., and occasionally team lift up to 100 lbs.
  • Using hands and arms to operate machinery, handle tools, and perform assembly tasks.
