divh2SpartanNash Maintenance Technician/h2pThis role is responsible for the preventative maintenance and/or replacements of equipment, facilities and fixtures following defined procedures and processes./ppHere is what you will do:/pulliRepair and/or replace distribution center equipment and fixtures as necessary (i.e., floors, ceiling, walls, doors, cabinets, light bulbs, plumbing, electrical, conveyor systems, motive power batteries and chargers, etc.)/liliRetrieve down equipment such as forklifts or pallet trucks and return to shop./liliAssist with facility safety, food safety, and code inspections/liliEnsure work is completed in a timely manner while not interrupting operations (to extent possible), ensure work environment is kept clean and safe/liliUtilize maintenance systems such as Square Rigger/other software as appropriate to ensure accurate and timely documentation of work and inventory/liliAssist with maintaining accurate inventory of facility assets (including batteries, forklifts, and pallet jacks) as well as stock lists of critical spare parts and service supplies/liliAssist with maintenance of facility security, asset protection, and safety needs/liliAdditional responsibilities as assigned/li/ulpHere is what you will need:/pulliDrivers License (Required)/liliHigh School Graduate or Equivalent (GED) (Required)/liliBasic hand tools (Required)/liliHilo License (Preferred)/lili1-3 years experience with a combination of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and environmental issues (Strongly preferred)/liliJourneyman Card is a plus/liliPrevious food distribution/manufacturing experience (strongly preferred)/liliBasic computer skills/liliGood communication skills, written and verbal to communicate and/or document maintenance needs and status of projects./liliMust report for work regularly and on time, as scheduled./liliMust be able to take direction from supervisor(s) and works well with others./liliMust work well under pressure, and is able to organize and prioritize work assignments, and meet established deadlines./liliMust perform assigned tasks accurately and completely./liliMust be flexible and able to handle changes in work requirements productively./li/ulpPhysical Requirements:/ppThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
