Description & Details:
- Use of brush, roller, and spray equipment; Use of man-lift and scaffolding; Use of banjo and other taping tools; Use of sander, scrapers and wire brushes
- Order materials required to complete projects
- Use of color machines to mix and match paints and stains; Use of paint shaker
- Read formulas for paints and stains
- Record paints and stains used in projects
- Prioritize and distribute work orders
- Hire and supervise summer help as needed
- Organize equipment and supplies related to job assignments
- Create and maintain work schedule for paint shop
- Estimate work cost for campus requests
- Record on computer daily hours
- Stress safety and proper use of equipment and chemicals
- Identify proper cleaning of solutions for latex and oil base paints
- General knowledge of cleaning spray equipment
- Wall-covering applications
- Stripe parking lots when needed
Hiring Range: $52,000 - $74,000 / year

Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 5 years journeyman painter
- Valid Driver's License
- 5+ years as Painter Lead/Supervisor
