🛠️ Position Overview
The Industrial Maintenance Technician ensures that production equipment operates safely, efficiently, and reliably. This role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of mechanical and electrical systems to support consistent, high-quality output.
🔍 Key Responsibilities
Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production machinery and facility systems
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues
Diagnose and repair motors, gearboxes, conveyors, PLC-controlled equipment, and automated systems
Support equipment installations, upgrades, and process improvements
Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation
Work closely with production teams to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance
Follow all safety procedures and contribute to a strong safety-first culture
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and root-cause analysis
🎓 Qualifications
Required
Industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing or similar environment
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
Experience with PLCs, sensors, drives, and automation systems
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
Ability to lift, climb, bend, and work in industrial environments
High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred
Technical degree or certification in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or related field
Experience with specialized manufacturing equipment
Welding, fabrication, or machining skills
Familiarity with CMMS systems

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fargo, ND.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $30.00/hr.
