Job Title: Welder Job Description

Join our team as a welder in the miscellaneous shop where you will work on projects involving handrails, ladders, cages, and more. This role requires precision, skill, and a keen eye for detail as you create essential components through welding.

Responsibilities

  • Set up weld machines and adjust the temperature based on the product specifications.

  • Read and interpret blueprints to accurately fit parts according to the specifics of the prints.

  • Operate overhead cranes as needed for the movement of materials.

  • Perform basic weld inspections to ensure quality before proceeding to the next step.

  • Clean up welds using a grinder as needed.

  • Work with steel welds up to 1" thick.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in MIG welding.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

  • Experience in fabrication and assembly.

  • Skill in operating overhead cranes.

  • Competence in using grinders to clean up welds.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in TIG welding and flux core techniques.

  • Familiarity with production and structural assembly processes.

  • Ability to work on feet for a 10-hour shift.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fargo, ND.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $25.00/hr.
