This rewarding position is providing routine dental care within the scope of the licensed Advanced Dental Therapist (ADT) to individuals with Developmental/Intellectual disabilities, Severe Mental Health issues and people who have suffered a Traumatic Brain Injury.
Responsibilities
Provide chairside assistance during dental procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
Conduct patient assessments and maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Deliver compassionate patient care, particularly for individuals with developmental disabilities.
Minimum Qualifications
Licensed with the MN Board of Dentistry and hold an Advanced Dental Therapist certificate
Person-centered approach, willingness to adapt to the needs for the patients
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with individuals Developmental/Intellectual disabilities
Provide leadership with patients and employees
