Overview:
SCHEELS is seeking enthusiastic, motivated, and detail-oriented candidates for their Digital Merchandising Internship. Interns will collaborate with the E-Commerce and Buying teams on various tasks, including product launches for clothing and shoes, vendor dropship programs, and trend analysis. The role involves uploading product data to the SCHEELS website and working with the team to enhance the online shopping experience for customers in the softline space. This internship offers hands-on experience in digital merchandising, with opportunities to learn and contribute to creating an optimal online retail experience. Responsibilities:
- Management of brands and specialty clothing and footwear shops on scheels.com
- Collect, enter, and upload brand and product data from vendors to the website including images, copy, product specifications, and all forms of digital media
- Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets for the purpose of product data management
- Daily management of brand/category marketing efforts, pricing, promotions, and strategies
- A strong understanding of retail systems, buying, and digital merchandising
- Work closely with our buying office to partner on product launches, vendor dropship programs, identifying key trends, inventory planning, and buying
- Remain highly organized with ability to follow-up on the smallest details and strong initiative for continuous improvement
- Maintain a strong, proven ability to communicate well and work independently as well as with a team

Education & Experience:- Ideal candidate will have an interest in obtaining an Associate's Degree in Marketing, Merchandising, or related field. Retail experience is beneficial, but not required
Physical Requirements/Lifting Requirements: Must be able to sit, stand, bend at the waist, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk, and hear with or without reasonable accommodation
Sedentary work - Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
