Overview:

The E-Commerce Shipping Analyst Intern will be responsible for improving shipping cost-effectiveness and speed for scheels.com customers, along with researching & analyzing our online competition's approaches & strategies around shipping and fulfillment. This position will work closely with the rest of the E-Commerce team.

Responsibilities:

  • Explore and identify cost-saving opportunities in relation to Scheels.com shipping expenses
  • Research and report on the different online shipping experiences & costs across our competitors within key categories & brands
  • Fundamental understanding of Scheels.com fulfillment processes and ability to support different E-Commerce teams
  • Process through various aspects of post-purchase order management and package lifecycles
  • Professional communication on behalf of the Scheels with our established carrier partnerships and other external partners
  • Ability to research, organize, problem-solve and communicate around complex issues with a team
  • Ability to identify, test, and improve points of opportunity throughout the scheels.com experience and shipping workflows
  • Basic computer knowledge: Microsoft Office, Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides

Education & Experience:
  • Ideal candidate will have an interest in obtaining an Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field


Physical Requirements/Lifting Requirements:

Must be able to sit, stand, bend at the waist, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk, and hear with or without reasonable accommodation
