Head Gymnastics Coach

The Head Gymnastics Coach leads and oversees the YMCA's gymnastics program, providing high-quality instruction in a safe, positive, and inclusive environment. This role is responsible for athlete development, staff leadership, program growth, and fostering the YMCA's core values of Caring, Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility.

Creates a positive and safe learning environment where the youth learn specific skills and proper technique.

Serves as a mentor and role model to the youth.

Facilitates challenging but fun practices that encourage teamwork and sportsmanship.

Cheers on the team and gives instruction.

Follows all policies and procedures in regard to proper spotting techniques.

Works to establish and build team unity.

At least 15 years old.

6 months experience working with youth.

Within 30 days of hire: CPR/FA Certification for Adult, Child and Infant.

Shifts Needed:

Tuesdays: 4:45pm-8:15pm

Saturdays: 8:30am-12:00pm
