Position Overview

The General Laborer supports daily construction activities and assists skilled trades across a variety of job sites. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, staying active, and contributing to meaningful projects throughout the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform general labor tasks such as site cleanup, material handling, and basic equipment operation
  • Assist carpenters, equipment operators, and other skilled trades as needed
  • Load and unload materials, tools, and supplies
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
  • Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE
  • Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
  • Support project teams with tasks that help keep projects on schedule
Qualifications
Required
  • Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting, bending, carrying, and standing for extended periods
  • Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude
  • Ability to follow instructions and work well within a team
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Preferred
  • Previous construction or general labor experience
  • Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic construction practices
  • OSHA 10 certification (or willingness to obtain)

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fargo, ND.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
