Are you looking to make an impactful change within an established organization? Butler Machinery is hiring for a Used Equipment Support Specialist covering our heavy construction equipment. This position is responsible for supporting the sales staff, managing the inspection process, and purchasing used equipment. Responsibilities:

• Evaluates inspections and determines value of machines

• Assists designated associates with the machine inspection process.

• Maintains and updates condition reports, descriptions, and photos for marketing machines.

• Assists in the management of used machine and attachment inventory.

• Supports sales staff's needs as it pertains to used equipment.

• Purchases used equipment and attachments.

• Sells used equipment to out of territory customers.

• Sells used attachments to out of territory customers.

• Works within and promotes vision, mission, and values of BMC.

• Monitor receiving and delivery of used machines

• Coordinates repairs of used equipment with service departments and reviewing work orders.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Must be knowledgeable in the heavy equipment industry.

• Must possess a strong mechanical background/aptitude. Technical experience is preferred.

• Must have knowledge of equipment configuration, application, and operation.

• Must be detail oriented

• Must possess a high level of accuracy.

• Strong computer skills with aptitude to learn new applications.

• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.

• Ability to accurately evaluate and report equipment conditions.

• Ability to accurately estimate repairs.

• Assist in setting up and invoicing of machines.
