Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to production teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to assembly tools, equipment, processes, and products during manufacturing.
  • Take initiative to resolve issues quickly and effectively with minimal supervision.
  • Support the installation, setup, wiring, programming, documentation, training, and maintenance of assembly and automation equipment.
  • Possess an understanding of programmable logic controllers, networks, sensors/scanners/cameras, and configuring I/O devices for automated systems.
  • Directly support Manufacturing and Factory Automation Engineers, and coordinate prototype jobs and resources.
  • Assist in the design, fabrication, and verification of production and prototype fixtures, jigs, and simple machines. Train operators on their use.
  • Act as the Engineering representative on the Final Assembly Continuous Improvement Teams, driving Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Productivity through Lean Manufacturing principles.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Ability to work directly on W2.
  • Experience in Robotics, particularly with Fanuc Robotics.
  • Experience with PLC Programming.
  • Hand Soldering experience.
