ENTERPRISE SALES ENGINEER

As a Sales Engineer, you'll maximize revenue opportunities by providing product and technical expertise to ClearCo's prospects, partners, clients, and sales teams. You'll demonstrate how our products can solve specific customer problems and drive strong business outcomes for stakeholders across the client organization.

The base compensation for this position is $100,000 to $125,000 annualized depending on experience and qualifications. This role is eligible for an additional compensation incentive in the form of performance-based bonuses paid out quarterly. The bonus payout is $65,000 annually when performing on target. A detailed bonus plan will be provided in writing at the time of offer.

WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH

Partner with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success to drive revenue growth, customer adoption, and improve product positioning in the marketplace.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Collaborate with Sales Executives on technical strategies, solution alignment, and competitive positioning for opportunities
  • Support customer discovery to ensure ClearCo is well-positioned to solve client pains
  • Prepare and deliver tailored presentations and software demonstrations to varied customer stakeholders that connect platform capabilities and ClearCo services to measurable outcomes
  • Collaborate with Product Managers as the voice of the customer to drive alignment between the development roadmap and evolving market needs
  • Stay on top of the Talent Management space, from emerging trends and changing expectations to new regulatory environments and competitive landscapes
  • Participate in RFP/RFI responses and technical validation discussions
First 60 Days - Platform Expertise and Industry Knowledge
  • Ramp into your new position through our extensive training program and with the guidance of an assigned mentor.
  • Deepen your knowledge of Human Resources, covering topics ranging from the various roles in organizations, industry-specific needs and challenges, to the common (and uncommon) technologies used across organizations.
  • Develop expertise in the ClearCo platform
  • Demo the solution to internal teams and implement feedback
  • Observe live calls with your peers to solidify your understanding of the ClearCo sales process
  • Learn why we win against competition in the HR ecosystem
90 Days - Go For It
  • Lead or co-lead active opportunities with Sales on your first deal, with support from others as needed
  • Determine customer requirements and ClearCo product fit, guide prospects to uncover additional needs throughout discovery conversations, and own the strategy of the technical win.
  • Utilize your technical and product understanding to create and deliver compelling ClearCo client demonstrations to audiences with varying levels of technical mastery, and make expert recommendations on product needs and process adjustments.
WHAT WE'D LIKE YOU TO HAVE
  • Has experience in Sales Engineering, Solutions Consulting, Sales, Implementation, Customer Success, or Product Management, preferably supporting SaaS industry product(s).
  • Enjoys problem solving and can translate technical knowledge into language understood by non-technical audiences.
  • Hears and understands pain points expressed by our prospects, applies industry knowledge to dig deeper into issues, and positions themselves as a trusted advisor through comprehensive product demonstrations.
  • API, integration, and data mapping experience with SaaS products
  • Adapts their thinking and presentation style on the fly to accommodate changing inquiries around users, available technology, cost, and potential impact at the big-picture and granular levels.
  • A drive to develop the best customer experiences, bring deals to close, and grow revenue.
