This role is essential to keeping our facility, equipment, and operations running safely and efficiently.This position focuses on facility and plant maintenance, preventative care, and equipment support to ensure a safe, productive work environment for all employees.If you enjoy troubleshooting, repairing equipment, and working in a fast-paced manufacturing setting where every day brings something new, we encourage you to apply.Position Summary The Facilities Maintenance Technician performs troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance on plant equipment and facility systems. The role also supports equipment assembly, installation, and general building maintenance to ensure safe and efficient plant operations.Key Responsibilities Equipment & Facility MaintenanceTroubleshoot, diagnose, and repair plant equipment and facility systemsPerform preventative maintenance on machinery and building systemsAssist with building and assembling new equipment as neededConduct general facility maintenance including plumbing repairs, pump maintenance, and machine shop tasksRead and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manualsPerform welding and metal repair as requiredMaintain facility structures and operational equipmentEquipment OperationSafely operate lift trucks and other material handling equipment as neededSafety & Operational SupportFollow all safety procedures including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), confined space, PPE, and related protocolsSupport a clean and organized workplace by following 5S principlesWork collaboratively with team members and cross-train when neededParticipate in ongoing safety and operational trainingComplete additional duties as assigned by managementQualifications RequiredMinimum two years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment OR completion of a relevant trade school programStrong mechanical aptitude with working knowledge of electrical and automated systemsAbility to troubleshoot and solve equipment and facility issuesAbility to read and interpret technical documents and manualsStrong communication and teamwork skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks and respond with urgencyStrong time management and organizational skillsPreferredExperience with three-phase electrical systems and basic PLC troubleshootingTraining or certification in Lockout/Tagout and lift truck operationExperience with roll form equipmentTraining in confined space, hot work, or line breaking proceduresManufacturing experience within window or door production environmentsWillingness to travel occasionally to support other company locations if neededWork Environment This role operates in a manufacturing and warehouse environment with exposure to moderate to loud noise levels.
