About the Role

A Fargo-Moorhead non-profit is seeking a Volunteer Lead Coordinator to manage all volunteer operations. This role will serve as the primary face to volunteers. The ideal candidate has nonprofit experience, strong organizational skills, and a passion for volunteer coordination, events, and community outreach.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all volunteer operations across programs and events
• Serve as the primary point of contact and relationship manager for volunteers
• Coordinate closely with the construction team to schedule volunteers based on project needs, dates, and capacity
• Recruit, track, and manage a large volunteer base, including corporate groups and recurring volunteers
• Support and participate in grant writing efforts (experience preferred; willingness to learn required)
• Assist with marketing and internal communications, including social media and volunteer outreach
• Maintain detailed volunteer records and analytics to support reporting and grant requirements

• Prior experience working in a nonprofit organization preferred
• Experience with volunteer coordination and event planning
• Grant writing experience preferred; willingness to learn and support grant efforts required
• Strong organizational, analytical, and attention-to-detail skills
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
• Ability to customize and grow the role based on strengths and organizational needs

• Competitive hourly pay ($50k-$55k/year range)
