Human Resources Generalist

The Human Resources Generalist will support multiple HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, affirmative action, employment law compliance, safety, benefits administration, and payroll. This role involves performing payroll record maintenance and bi-weekly payroll processing, as well as preparing and distributing payroll reports for accounting and management. The successful candidate will maintain accurate employee and applicant documentation, including personnel files. Additionally, the HR Generalist will lead employee benefits processes by reviewing benefit information, processing enrollments and changes, and coordinating open enrollment. The role also includes reconciling employee benefit vouchers with payroll and ensuring accurate departmental coding.

Responsibilities:

  • Support multiple HR functions including recruitment, employee relations, affirmative action, and employment law compliance.
  • Manage safety, benefits administration, and payroll processes.
  • Perform payroll record maintenance and bi-weekly payroll processing.
  • Prepare and distribute payroll reports for accounting and management.
  • Maintain accurate employee and applicant documentation, including personnel files.
  • Lead employee benefits processes, including reviewing benefit information and coordinating open enrollment.
  • Reconcile employee benefit vouchers with payroll and ensure accurate departmental coding.

Essential Skills:

  • Degree and/or relevant experience in human resources.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and maintain positive working relationships.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Sense of urgency and efficiency in managing responsibilities.
  • Proven ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong initiative and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple projects.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience in human resources, onboarding, data entry, and customer service.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Permanent position based out of Fargo, ND.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $49920.00 - $60320.00/yr. Vision Health Dental PTo 401k
