A-OX Welding Supply and A&B Welding Supply, leading suppliers of full-range industrial, medical and specialty gases, are seeking sales professionals to join their team as Outside Sales Representatives in the Fargo, ND area.

Minimum qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED.
• At least 5 years of outside sales experience.
• Proficient with MS Office - Excel, Word & PowerPoint.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
• Clean driving record.

Preferred qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree preferred but not required.
• Industrial, medical or specialty gas experience preferred but not required.

Essential duties/responsibilities:

• Generates new business and maintains existing business by building and sustaining strong, trusting relationships with customers and prospects.
• Cold calls (onsite & phone) potential targets.
• Responsible for gross profit improvement.
• Plans and organizes activities and resources so that sales goals are consistently met or exceeded.
• Prepares and executes Business Plan for targeted customer segments.
• Secures long term relationships by negotiating product supply agreements.
• Accountable for providing complete and accurate account set-up and pricing data.
• Maintain list of target accounts by generating and qualifying new business leads.
• Conducts competitive intelligence.
• Demonstrates products to new account customers.
• Manages territory budget.
• Other duties as assigned.
