Collections Agent

Type: Temp-to-Hire, Full Time
Compensation: $18/hr. starting then moves to $14/hr. plus commission
Schedule: Monday-Thursday from 8am-5pm, Friday from 8am-12pm

Position Overview:
• Reaching out to consumers to discuss payment options and negotiate payment plans.
• Work with consumers to resolve outstanding debts in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate and up to date consumer records
• Adhere to all applicable laws and regulations related to debt collections.
• Provide excellent customer service and support to consumers through the debt resolution process.
• Handle inbound and place outbound calls for assigned accounts.
• Take on existing accounts and maintain new accounts.

Characteristics of a Successful Candidate:
• Administrative and/or Customer service experience preferred
• Effective communicator and comfortable talking on the phone
• Adept with computers and willing to learn new software
• Reliable and self-motivated
