Description & Details:

The student worker will assist the Center for 4-H Youth Development state office team. This position will be onsite (FLC 219). Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Social media support

o Develop content for social media (graphics, videos, and messages)

o Explore use of other social media platforms to engage audiences

• Program support

o Assist with survey data entry

o Assist with developing resources

o Assist in special projects as needed

o Working on promotional materials (postcards, brochures, posters, swag, etc.)

o Assist with recruitment event planning

• Office support

o Help maintain filing system

o Assist 4-H specialists prepare for different types of activities and programs

o Sending postcards/materials to prospective students

o Assist with other office duties (copies, scanning, etc.)

Work Schedule:

Hours are flexible and will include 20 hours per week or more as needed from June 3 to August 16.

Advertised Pay:

$13 per hour

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite/Workspace

• Must be dependable, detail-oriented, flexible, organized, willing to learn, and possess the ability to multitask

• Must have solid written and oral communication skills

• Must be able to lift or move up to 35 lbs. using proper lifting techniques

• Must be eligible for work study
