Responsibilities:

Develop and automate large scale, high-performance data processing systems (batch and/or streaming)

Work with data engineers, data scientists, and data analysts to design and implement data processing systems

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and design scalable solutions

Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the data processing lifecycle

Optimize data pipelines for performance and cost-effectiveness

Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in data engineering

Requirements:

Proven experience as a data engineer or similar role

Strong knowledge of data processing systems and technologies

Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure)

Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Strong communication and collaboration skills
