Why You Will Love this Job Position Summary The Purchasing Compliance Analyst, reporting to Senior Manager, Purchasing Business Office, is responsible for ensuring that Rehlko's purchased components comply with all applicable regulatory, customer, and responsible-sourcing requirements. This role supports global purchasing operations by reviewing supplier data, maintaining compliance documentation, and coordinating responses to internal and external compliance inquiries.
Primary Responsibilities Regulatory and Product Compliance - Review purchased components and associated specifications within the Assent compliance platform to verify supplier completion of required campaigns and adherence to relevant regulations, including REACH, RoHS, Proposition 65, TSCA, PFAS, and other product compliance standards.
- Validate compliance information and provide timely responses to internal Change Notice (CN) processes upon completion of verification activities.
Sanctions and Country-of-Origin Compliance - Develop and maintain a standardized process and centralized repository for supplier declarations confirming that raw material Country of Origin is not of Russian origin, in alignment with EU sanctions and Russian Iron and Steel regulations.
- Prepare customer-facing documentation and obtain appropriate internal approvals and signatures.
Responsible Sourcing and Forced Labor Screening - Conduct screening of new suppliers using established tools and systems to identify potential forced labor risks.
- Perform ongoing monitoring of the existing supply base to ensure continued compliance with responsible-sourcing requirements.
Customer Compliance Requests - Respond to customer inquiries and documentation requests related to:
- REACH, RoHS, Proposition 65, TSCA, PFAS
- Country of Origin / USMCA
- Conflict Minerals
- Russian Iron and Steel regulations
- Other regulatory or compliance documentation as required
Required Skills and Qualifications - Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple functional areas.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and operate in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with global purchasing teams and suppliers.
- Ability to document processes and develop clear process maps in accordance with departmental standards.
Preferred Qualifications - Familiarity with product compliance regulations such as REACH, RoHS, Proposition 65, TSCA, and PFAS.
- Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems.
- Experience using compliance management platforms such as Assent.
- Background in purchasing, supply chain, compliance, or related fields.
The Salary range for this position is $59,250.00-$74,050.00.The specific Salary rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's experience, their education, and the work location.
