Position Title: Controller

The Controller position offers an opportunity for a seasoned accounting professional to significantly impact financial operations within a dynamic organization. Controller Responsibilities:

• Oversee the preparation of financial statements and ensure GAAP compliance
• Manage budgeting and forecasting processes
• Supervise a remote team of two, ensuring effective communication and collaboration
• Handle cash flow management, including collection from customers
• Conduct month-end closing processes, including journal entries and reconciliations
• Prepare and report cash position to ownership weekly
• Utilize Netsuite for financial reporting and user management
• Ensure accuracy in invoicing and maintain proper documentation

Controller Requirements:

• 7-10 years of experience in accounting, including financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and GAAP compliance
• 3-5 years of supervisory experience
• Proficiency in Netsuite is required
• Experience in logistics, manufacturing, or related fields
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and vlookups
• Bachelor's degree in accounting
• Experience with purchase orders, sales orders, invoices, and inventory management is preferred
• Hybrid In-office availability
• Inventory costing knowledge is preferred
• MBA or CPA is preferred
