BUSINESS & CUSTOMER RELATIONS ASSOCIATE POSITION OVERVIEW
Assist Marketing, Universal Banking, Business Development and other bank service areas to develop business in support of First Western Bank & Trust's sales and service objectives while adhering to the bank's culture of excellence in customer service.
Assist with the activities of business development to ensure the delivery of high-quality service to customers.
Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers
Assist Universal Banking with outbound customer calls
Proactively increase customer satisfaction and loyalty, through ensuring interactions meet or exceed customer needs
Meet with business and personal customers to provide information on banking products
Open and manage business and personal accounts including checking, savings, money market, certificates of deposit, and safe deposit accounts
Ensure timely response and resolution of customer questions and issues in a timely, professional manner via telephone, email, or in-person
Assist Marketing with customer events, etc. as requested
Handle a wide variety of customer banking matters accurately and efficiently; includes cashing checks; making checking and savings account deposits and withdrawals; processing credit card, loan and ACH payments; calculating loan payoffs; redeeming savings bonds; processing coin and currency orders; ordering new and issuing temporary checks; selling and issuing gift cards and travel cards; and wire transfers
BUSINESS & CUSTOMER RELATIONS ASSOCIATE QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in business administration, management studies, or in a related discipline or two years of relevant experience
Prior experience in the field of banking, customer service, or marketing
Knowledge of marketing and business concepts preferred
Knowledge of banking principles preferred
