Member Services Representative

Preference Employment Solutions is hiring a detail-oriented and customer focused individual for a local credit union in Fargo. This role allows you to be responsible for providing excellent customer service, handling financial transactions, and ensuring accuracy and security of all transactions. Being a Member Services Representative, you get to be the first point of contact for customers, helping them with deposits, withdrawals, account inquiries and other banking services.

Type: Temp-to-Hire, Part-time
Schedule: 7:15am - 11:30am, Monday - Friday
Compensation: $17/hr.

Position Overview:

• Assist members by completing withdrawals, deposits, transfers, loan payments/advances, cashier's checks, and money orders in accordance with federal banking regulations.
• Handle member transactions and cash services by phone, in-person, and drive-thru.
• Resolve account problems, cross-selling helpful products and services.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records.
• Promote a positive customer service experience and ensure a high level of satisfaction.
• Being compliant with bank operating policies and procedures and maintain strict customer confidentiality.

Characteristics of a Successful Candidate:

• HS Diploma or its equivalent; college degree preferred
• Strong computer skills; adept with Microsoft Office suite
• Outstanding customer service and cash handling experience is a plus
• Keen attention to detail with superior organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple task
