Job Title: Restoration Technician

Job Description

As a Restoration Technician, you will play a vital role in responding to water and fire damage cleanups. You will be responsible for performing mitigation services, monitoring projects, and ensuringthe safety and satisfaction of our clients. Work is in the Fargo-West Fargo-Moorhead area working in teams.

Responsibilities

• Respond to water and fire damage cleanups.

• Be on call after hours and weekends for emergency projects every three weeks.

• Extract standing water and remove wet building materials.

• Perform mitigation services as needed.

• Monitor, communicate, and respond to customer needs and concerns.

• Communicate clear expectations to Production Technicians and supervise their activities.

• Perform production processes as scheduled and ensure quality control.

• Identify safety hazards, communicate, and establish control measures.

• Manage job file documentation to ensure complete and accurate project details.

• Manage and control costs of production projects.

• Protect and properly use equipment and materials.

Essential Skills

• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance.

• Ability to climb ladders and work at ceiling heights.

• Ability to work in tight spaces such as crawl spaces and attics.

• Capability to sit, stand, or walk for prolonged periods.

• Ability to repetitively push, pull, lift, and carry objects.

• Ability to work with and around cleaning products and chemicals.

• Ability to travel locally and out of state when necessary.

• Hand and power tool experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in demolition projects, construction, and carpentry.

• Possession of a valid driver's license.

• Capability to pass a DOT Test/Physical.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fargo, ND.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
