The Clay County Public Health Department is now accepting applications to be considered for 4 open positions as a Variable Hour (Part-Time) Detox Technician.

Starting Wage: $23.51 per hour - Full Salary Range: $23.51-$32.50 per hour

Status: Non-Exempt

Shifts: Days/Evening/Overnights/Weekend

Hours: Average no more than 19 hours per week

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• High School Diploma/equivalency
• 1-3 years prior related work experience preferred
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to successfully complete a background check

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

• Trainings that will be provided: CPR, First Aid & Medication Administration Certification

DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

1. To assist nursing staff in medical care of clients during intake, detoxing and discharge phases, including documentation and paperwork.
