Bilingual Structural Engineer (English / Spanish):

On behalf of our Mining client, Procom is searching for a Structural Engineer for a six-month contract role. This position is a remote position based in Canada, the USA, or Mexico.

Bilingual Structural Engineer (English / Spanish): - Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced contract Structural Engineer to join our team. The role involves Analyze and assess structural integrity and maturity, formulate condition reports, monitor business partner performance, to ensure alignment and support for asset integrity initiatives.

Bilingual Structural Engineer (English / Spanish)- Responsibilities:

• Analyze thorough reviews and audits of the current structural integrity of assets, adhere to standards and identify areas for improvement.
• Assess the maturity of structural systems and processes, identify gaps and opportunities for enhancement.
• Formulate comprehensive reports based on integrity and maturity assessments, recommend actionable improvements.
• Coordinate with team members to execute and close out actions identified during audits and reviews, ensure all necessary improvements are executed effectively.
• Monitor and assess the performance of partners involved in structural maintenance and support activities, ensure they meet quality and contractual standards.
• Deliver oversight and support to ensure timely and effective close out of all action items from integrity and maturity assessments.
• Advise direct subject matter guide support to address critical risks and incidents related to structural systems, deliver technical guidance and solutions.
• Run investigations into structural incidents, diagnose root causes and formulate solutions to prevent recurrence.
• Improve continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing the reliability and performance of structural systems.

Bilingual Mechanical Engineer (English / Spanish) - Mandatory Skills:

This role demands practical previous role responsibilities related to the monitoring and improvement of structural engineering standards, risk management, and compliance. Formal education qualification in Civil or Structural Engineering is preferred. Project management training would be beneficial.
