3D-Fuel is a U.S.-based manufacturer of high-performance 3D printing filament. We produce advanced materials including PLA+, PETG, PCTG, and recycled filaments, serving customers worldwide through e-commerce and distribution.

As we expand production capacity, we are looking for a Plant Manager to lead and scale our manufacturing operations.

The Role

This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for running the plant and improving operational performance.

You will own:

• Production output and efficiency
• Equipment utilization and uptime
• Staffing and production readiness
• Product availability across key SKUs
• Continuous improvement of manufacturing systems

Success in this role is measured by:

• Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE)
• Production throughput
• In-stock inventory levels
• Scrap reduction and downtime minimization

What You'll Do

• Lead day-to-day manufacturing operations across extrusion lines
• Ensure production lines are fully staffed and operating effectively
• Improve OEE through better uptime, throughput, and quality
• Plan production to maintain high availability of core products
• Reduce scrap and eliminate causes of downtime
• Build and manage a strong production team
• Improve processes, changeovers, and operational systems
• Work cross-functionally with warehouse and fulfillment

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of manufacturing or plant operations experience
• Experience managing production teams in a hands-on environment
• Strong operational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to balance efficiency with real-world production demands
  

Preferred

• Plastics manufacturing or extrusion experience
• Familiarity with OEE or similar metrics
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability

Compensation

• Base Salary: $70,000 – $90,000
• Performance Bonus: $15,000 – $25,000 annually (paid quarterly)

• Continuous improvement initiatives
