Salary: $80,000 base + commission

Location: Fully remote – must reside in ND, SD, MN, WI, or IA

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, motivate, and manage a team of Territory Managers to achieve both individual and team sales targets.
  • Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities, market trends, and monitor competitor activities.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of product pricing strategies and programs.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Manage an assigned territory and fulfill the function of a Territory Manager as needed.
  • Develop and execute effective sales strategies and plans to drive market share growth and meet business objectives.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of external building supplies and roll-forming equipment to effectively communicate product features and benefits to customers.
  • Manage the sales budget, track sales performance, and regularly report on key metrics to senior management.
  • Collaborate closely with other departments, including marketing, product development, and customer service, to ensure seamless customer experiences.
  • Represent the company at national and regional trade shows and other industry events.
  • Attend meetings and provide updates to senior management on sales activities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive sales experience.
  • Strong leadership skills with the proven ability to inspire and manage a sales team.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with confidence presenting and influencing at all levels of an organization.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, direct, and coordinate sales activities and projects.
  • Proven track record in building and maintaining effective relationships with customers, stakeholders, and team members.
  • Exceptional negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other related sales tools.
  • Valid driver's license, insurability, and the ability to travel as required.
