Account Manager

Position Overview

We are seeking a Small Business Account Manager to support and manage a diverse book of commercial lines clients with premiums under $30K. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented insurance professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys building long-term client relationships.

You will take ownership of accounts once new business is bound, ensuring smooth servicing, accurate coverage, and ongoing client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a book of small business commercial accounts across various industries (construction, LROs, restaurants, health services, etc.)
• Process new and renewal policies, ensuring accuracy and appropriate coverage
• Handle endorsements, audits, cancellations, reinstatements, and certificates/evidence of insurance
• Respond to client inquiries including billing, coverage questions, and policy changes
• Support account rounding by advising clients on additional coverage options
• Collaborate with Sales Executives by providing documentation and account insights
• Submit renewals to incumbent carriers and assist in maintaining retention

Qualifications

Required:

• Active Property & Casualty (P&C) License (or willingness to obtain)
• 3+ years of commercial lines account management experience preferred
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
