Now Hiring: Loan Documentation Specialist

We're seeking a Loan Documentation Specialist who'll take the lead in preparing loan documents, coordinating closings, and ensuring every detail—from title work to flood determinations—is handled with care and precision. You'll process fundings, review post-closing documentation, and support internal audits and regulatory exams, all while helping us deliver mission-aligned lending that makes a real difference.

What You'll Contribute:

Loan Packages & Documents

  • Craft precision-perfect loan packages using LaserPro, ensuring every document is accurate, compliant, and ready to move deals forward.
  • Review attorney-prepared loan documents with a sharp eye for detail, ensuring everything aligns with policy and purpose.

Title & Flood Work

  • Take the lead on title and flood work, ordering and reviewing critical reports that keep our lending process smooth and secure.

Funding & Closing

  • Be the go-to coordinator for closings, working seamlessly with title agents, attorneys, loan officers, and assistants to bring each transaction across the finish line.
  • Own the funding process, making sure loans are disbursed accurately and on time—because timing is everything.
  • Double-check the details post-closing, reviewing documentation and system entries to ensure accuracy, compliance, and peace of mind.

Audits & Regulatory Exams

  • Support internal audits and regulatory exams with confidence, helping us stay transparent, accountable, and audit-ready.

Experience & Education

  • 3-5 years of handling title work and understanding the importance of accuracy and compliance in the lending process.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance or equivalent education and formal training.

Banking & Fintech Acumen - You understand banking and Loan Operations deeply. Once you understand a process, you consistently look for ways to improve it or to complete it more efficiently. You are also committed to becoming a compliance wiz and actively strive for excellent knowledge of regulatory requirements. Lastly, you relentlessly seek and expand your understanding of our products and services and never miss an opportunity to speak eloquently about the Bank.

Tech-Forward and Analytical Thinking – You're quick to learn new tools and excited by innovation. You also have previously worked with LaserPro and Phoenix (core system) and know your way around loan documentation and system workflows.

The Work Environment:

  • Remote role within the United States; Eastern Standard Hours.
  • Occasional U.S. travel for company events.
  • Tobacco-Free employer. All employees must affirm to be non-smokers or affirm commitment to cessation within 90-days of offer acceptance.
  • Sustained standing and sitting, frequent communication (speaking and listening) and use of PC, including typing or sustained attention to monitor, occasional lifting up to 20 lbs.
