Job Duties Setting Appointments (6-8 hours/week): reach out to potential clients that have requested coverage and schedule a meeting to discuss mortgage protection coverage.Research (4-5 hours/week): dig into client-provided information to customize options to meet financial needs in case of death or disability.Meeting with Families (2 days/week): meet with clients virtually or in-person to present options, discuss coverage details, and help them apply.Administrative (2 hours/week): follow up with insurance carriers to facilitate client applications through underwriting.Qualifications We are looking for coachable, challenge-seeking, self-disciplined individuals with a growth mindset.Skill set isn't everything for this position.Commission Structure This is a commission-only based sales position. The average commission on a mortgage protection product is approximately $600 per family. Our expectation is that a full-time agent will sell 5 to 10 mortgage protection plans per week. In addition to mortgage protection, we also have a selection of premium financial products to help people save for retirement or protect their current retirement accounts. We provide extensive training on how these products work and how to sell them. In addition to uncapped commission, we have a competitive bonus structure program along with incentive trips agents/managers can qualify for based on individual and team results.***No agent's success, earnings, or production results should be viewed as typical, average, or expected.
