The role of the Senior Change Manager is to provide senior and strategic OCM/OD practitioner expertise, to proactively support the business prepare for, deliver and adopt a wide variety of change activity and initiatives, with a laser sharp focus on human behavior and the people impact of change. The role will also directly support the US Change Leader, in strategically managing levels of concurrent change across the business overall.

As senior member of the Change Team the role provides an important bridge across multiple business areas, acting as a partner to the business to help them better understand the broader change landscape, and how to effectively design, deliver and embed change by maximizing business buy-in, minimizing risks and achieving sustained outcomes.

Senior Change Manager - Organizational Design and People Change

We will count on you to:

  • Collaborate closely with Change Management and Transformation Leaders, the COO, and global/regional teams to deliver the US change management strategy.
  • Lead strategic change management efforts by guiding senior stakeholders on expected ROI and overcoming people-related barriers.
  • Drive purpose-led change focused on people values, behaviors, culture, learning, and talent to maximize benefits and minimize risks.
  • Develop and implement change management approaches aligned with business and program objectives, including risk assessment and mitigation.
  • Build trusted relationships across the business, manage a team of change practitioners, and provide consultative change management advice to leaders and teams.
What you need to have:
  • 4-6 years of direct change management experience in large, complex organizations, working across multiple functions.
  • Strong knowledge of OCM/OD and people-focused change management principles, methodologies, and approaches.
  • Familiarity with project/program management methodologies like PMP, Prince2, or Lean Six Sigma.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to present complex change concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Proven people management experience and strong stakeholder relationship skills.

  • Ability to provide constructive challenge and advice at all organizational levels, including senior executives.
  • Professional certification such as APMG or Prosci.
  • Deep understanding of how different personalities and cultures approach and adopt change.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication and presentation skills, including experience in change communications.
  • Experience driving change analytics and collaborating with HR, Learning & Development, and Internal Communications to enhance employee engagement.

Marsh is committed to hybrid work, which includes the flexibility of working remotely and the collaboration, connections and professional development benefits of working together in the office. All Marsh colleagues are expected to be in their local office or working onsite with clients at least three days per week. Office-based teams will identify at least one "anchor day" per week on which their full team will be together in person.

The applicable base salary range for this role is $136,200 to $272,400.

The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
