TAIT is looking for experienced Freelance Event Guest Services Producers (U.S.-based) to support a major project taking place on-site in Washington, DC from June 1 to June 16 2026, with remote work beginning April 2026. Travel and accommodations will be provided for on site time.
This is a temporary contract role, not a full-time staff position.
Position Purpose:
As a Freelance Event Guest Services Producer, you'll be responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering exceptional, experiences for guests and Client. This role oversees all aspects of the public patron journey, including patron journey, onsite hospitality and postevent followup-ensuring seamless, personalized, and premium service at every touchpoint. This role requires flexibility, crossdepartment collaboration, and a proactive approach to problemsolving in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Guest Experience Strategy
- Develop and implement experience strategies that elevate the patron journey.
- Ensure brand consistency and quality across all event touchpoints.
Patron Journey - Build and maintain detailed event-focused patron journey maps.
- Identify pain points and implement improvements for ticket scanning, arrival, entry, engagement activities, and departure.
- Collaborate with teams to enhance accessibility, communication clarity, wayfinding, and hospitality.
- Catering, patron medical, usher and FOH management
- Collaborate with creative teams and client on the guest experience look and feel build
Event Execution - Execute all parts of the public hospitality program with event operations, production, FOH teams, and external vendors.
- Ensure high-quality hospitality, and customer service throughout the event.
- Oversee on-site patron flow: Arrival experience, queue management, activations, and post-event exit.
- Implement procedures that ensure a welcoming, efficient, and safe environment.
- Troubleshoot real-time issues and elevate the overall event experience.
- Partner with marketing/partnerships, ticketing, production, and customer service teams to align guest experience strategy.
- Provide training and guidance for front-of-house and event staff to deliver consistent experiences.
Measurement & Feedback - Contribute to the end of project report, providing insights and recommendations to leadership for improvement.
Miscellaneous - General support on event ops where and when needed.
- This role in particular does have fluidity to it and may vary based on project needs.
Position Requirements: - 3+ years of event management, production, or related experience; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong project management and budget management abilities.
- Highly organized with a detaildriven, proactive approach.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Airtable, and similar tools.
- Positive, solutions-oriented attitude with the ability to work under pressure.
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and irregular hours based on event needs.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.
- Professionalism, discretion, and tact when handling sensitive information.
