Responsible for providing care and services to meet the needs of the assigned facilities through strategic and accountable leadership. This includes the establishment, implementation and adherence to policies and procedures, coordination of orientation programs for new staff, development and engagement of existing staff and is instrumental in leading quality improvement activities; develops monitoring tools, collects data, uses data to drive improvements in care and services. What you will do. Responsible for total nursing care of residents and the accuracy of the nursing care records. Participates in the selection of prospective residents based on nursing care needs and nursing personnel competencies available. Oversees all Federal/ State SNF Conditions of Participation including admissions, MDS/ Care planning process, restorative nursing and care delivery.
