Description & Details:
The position of Residence Life Student Leadership Administrative Support reports to the Assistant Director for Leadership Development and provides support with regard to event planning, student leadership/hall government and department collaborations.
Tasks/Duties Assigned:
- Providing support for event planning (Welcome Week, Homecoming, Residence Life departmental events, etc.)
- Assist with updating/archiving the hall pages within myNDSU
- Administrative support with the student leadership plan including but not limited to Google Drives, constitution updates, etc.
- Provide administrative duties in Residence Life including, but not limited to:
- Covering desk hours
- Upholding departmental policies and procedures
- Providing customer service to students and guests
- Perform other duties as assigned ,which may include:
- Assisting with projects with other on-campus departments
- Physical job related tasks (lifting tables, moving boxes, etc.)
Work Schedule: Flexible working hours and schedule, as approved by the Assistant Director for Leadership Development. The position begins in June 2026 and will continue through May 2027. Hours will vary but will average approximately 10 hours per week.
Advertised Pay: $14.50/hour
Minimum Qualifications: - Must be an enrolled student at NDSU (undergraduate or graduate)
- Must be in good standing with Residence Life and NDSU, through the Code of Conduct and the conduct process
- Must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5
Preferred Qualifications: - Prior experience with NDSU Residence Life student leadership
- Excellent communication skills
- Effective time management skills
- Organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work both independently as well as in a team
