Position Title - Technician Position Requirements Visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future Drug screen required Shift: 1st Shift (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday–Friday) PPE Required: Metatarsal safety shoes on Day 1 Job Purpose Support design engineering teams with prototype bring-up, PCB assembly troubleshooting, testing, debugging, and electronic product validation activities. Approximately 60–70% of the role involves PC-based work, including use of TAKAYA APT-1600FD software to create flying probe test programs. Essential Job Functions 1. Perform inspection, testing, and failure analysis to determine root causes of defective electronic assemblies. 2. Research, collect, and summarize technical data for troubleshooting and root cause analysis. 3. Rework products according to company and industry standards. 4. Build test harnesses, loads, fixtures, and circuit boards to support product development. 5. Document and maintain accurate records of work performed. 6. Communicate process or design issues to supervisors and engineering teams; assist with corrective actions. 7. Conduct manual testing of electronic circuits and PCBs based on engineering instructions. 8. Communicate professionally with internal and external customers. 9. Create and update prototype test documentation as required. 10. Design and build advanced engineering test boxes. 11. Support additional engineering and technician tasks as assigned. 12. Train and mentor other personnel when required. Required Education Associate's Degree (A.S.) in Electronics, OR Two-year technical diploma, OR Equivalent military certification, OR Equivalent hands-on experience Required Experience Minimum 1 year of experience in: Electronics Manufacturing Engineering Related technical industry 3+ years of related experience preferred Required Skills & Abilities Experience troubleshooting PCB subassembly failures and identifying root causes Understanding of manufacturing processes and electronic components Familiarity with electronic test equipment: Multimeters Oscilloscopes Ability to read: Schematics Engineering drawings Technical diagrams Ability to interpret component datasheets Product assembly/disassembly skills Ability to maintain and repair lab equipment Strong computer skills: Spreadsheets Word processing Technical software applications Ability to research, organize, and summarize technical data Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong mechanical aptitude Preferred Skills 3+ years troubleshooting PCB subassembly failures 3+ years fine-pitch SMT soldering experience 3+ years using electronic test equipment Experience with: 3D printers PCB layout/design Machining and material modification Advanced test equipment: Logic analyzers Spectrum analyzers LG R7 Employment Type: Full Time Years Experience: 1 - 3 years Salary: $34 - $35 Hourly Bonus/Commission: No
