Job Title: Electronics Technician (Prototype & Testing) Location: Fargo, ND Duration: 24 + Months ( Contract/Temp with the possibility of extension) Shift: 1st Shift (8:00 AM to 5:00 PM) Pay Range: $33/hr to $35/hr Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Electronics Technician to support engineering teams with prototype bring-up, PCB testing, troubleshooting, and failure analysis. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work with electronic systems while also analysing data and documenting results. Key Responsibilities Perform inspection, testing, and failure analysis of electronic assemblies and PCBs Troubleshoot and identify root causes of defects in subassemblies Conduct manual testing of circuits using engineering instructions Build and modify test fixtures, harnesses, and prototype boards Rework products following industry and company standards (including soldering) Create and maintain test documentation and reports Support engineers with prototype development and debugging Use specialized software to develop and run test programs for PCB validation Communicate technical findings with internal teams Assist in training other technicians as needed Required Qualifications Associate degree or diploma in Electronics (or equivalent experience) Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in electronics, manufacturing, or engineering support Experience troubleshooting PCB assemblies and electronic circuits Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical documentation Familiarity with electronic test equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes, etc.) Basic computer skills (spreadsheets, documentation tools) Preferred Qualifications 3+ years of experience in electronics testing or troubleshooting Experience with fine-pitch soldering and SMT components Familiarity with advanced test equipment (logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers) Experience with PCB layout or design tools Exposure to 3D printing or mechanical fabrication Strong mechanical aptitude Work Environment & Requirements Majority of work performed on a computer (60–70%) with hands-on lab work Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong written and verbal communication skills PPE required (metatarsal safety shoes on Day 1) Drug screening required (LH-R7) Employment Type: Full Time Salary: $33 - $35 Hourly Bonus/Commission: No
