Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel Surgical Technologist for a travel job in Fargo, North Dakota. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Surgical Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 07/06/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Operating Room Open Heart (CVOR Surgical Assistant) Fargo, North Dakota A healthcare professional is needed as a CVOR Surgical Assistant to support surgical and operating room duties as assigned according to established Standard Operating Procedure (SOP). This role assists the surgeon and other health care team members in delivering effective surgical care, including responsibilities related to cardiovascular and thoracic case workflows. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. Job Details Schedule: 10 hour shifts; minimum 40 hours per week. Call 1 to 2 shifts per week and every 4th or 5th weekend; 8 or 10 hour shifts may be scheduled. Required Qualifications: 2 years CVOR experience; Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA); Unlicensed Assistive Personnel (UAP) must be on the North Dakota Board of Nursing Unlicensed Assistive Personnel (UAP) Registry one week prior to start date; experience working in a large hospital (250 beds) and a Level 2 (or higher) facility. Preferred Qualifications: None listed. Responsibilities: Perform surgical and operating room duties as assigned according to established policies and procedures to assist the surgeon and other health care team members in providing effective surgical care. Primary patient populations include CV Vascular/Thoracic. Primary procedures required include orthopedics, plastic surgery, and ENT (pediatric and adult). Potentially float to other operating rooms to cover when CV is slow, and floating to other units/departments may be required. All clinicians must badge in and out at the facility. Additional Information: Scrub color provided (Ceil Blue). Charting system: EPIC. Proof of Unlicensed Assistive Personnel (UAP) registry application must be shown within 3 business days of acceptance of an offer.
