Forklift Service Road Technician - Fargo, ND

Position requires you to repair and maintain electric, propane, CNG, diesel lift trucks and customer equipment. Qualified applicants will have a mechanical background. Experience in forklift repair and maintenance is required. Accepting applicants with background in heavy, agriculture or construction equipment. Recent graduates from technical schools with education in automotive and/or diesel repair are strongly encouraged to apply. Duties and responsibilities include accepting repair orders, servicing in specific counties, coordinating with service office staff, diagnosing malfunctions, offering solutions, timely submission of work orders, providing estimates, repairing, servicing, reconditioning or assembling equipment, obtaining necessary parts, making mechanical repairs, recording complete repair description, examining protective guards, lubricating moving parts, maintaining professional image, maintaining and operating shop equipment and tools, notifying Service Manager of safety issues, performing quality work, promoting marketing efforts, completing service forms, and submitting directly to Service department daily.

Required skills and abilities include having a valid driver's license and good driving record, experience in forklift repair, ability to read and interpret documents, ability to speak effectively, ability to work under little or no supervision, and ability to provide own tools for the job.

Education and experience include high school graduate or GED, 3+ years of mechanic experience and/or education, and basic knowledge of computer and internet software.
