Clinical Research Assessment Specialist Sanford Research - Division of Biobehavioral Research seeks a Clinical Research Assessment Specialist to conduct psychological assessments and interviews with participants enrolled in studies focused on eating disorders, obesity, and bariatric surgery. The position is a day shift, 40‑hour work week, with a salary range of $24.00‑$38.50 per hour.Responsibilities Coordinate complex components of various research projects and clinical trials, including study‑required testing and procedures.Collaborate with principal investigators to ensure safe and compliant investigational treatment or intervention and follow‑up per the established research protocol.Review inclusion/exclusion criteria and source documents to confirm study eligibility.Prepare case report forms and collect source documents for sponsor or audit review.Abstract data from medical records, clinic, consultation, and referral notes for preparation of study forms and flow sheets.Review protocol requirements and collaborate with ancillary departments (clinic nursing, infusion nursing, pharmacy, radiology, pathology, nurse navigators, dietitians, laboratory personnel) to ensure subject safety and protocol compliance.Conduct assessments for study protocols, primarily with patients with eating disorders, obesity, or bariatric surgery.Interact with regulatory boards such as the Institutional Review Board (IRB).Educate patients, physicians, nurses and other personnel in the research process.Actively participate in the education and training of research subjects and staff.Qualifications Master's degree in a clinically relevant field, including clinical or counseling psychology.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to work independently and in a collaborative, team environment.Experience with psychological assessments and research protocols preferred.EEO Statement Sanford is an EEO/AA Employer M/F/Disability/Vet.
