Responsible for daily record keeping and data reporting related to daily work schedule. Work with new devices, including TV project, TUG project, Med‑gas project, new EKGs, Philips upgrade, anesthetic cart upgrade, new beds, dialysis pumps inventory management, CERNER.Basic Qualifications:Experience within a medical center and biomedical engineering departmentOR, experience working in or with the Veterans Health Administration (VHA)OR, understanding of VISN, VA medical center, and biomedical engineering department operationsRole Specific Qualifications:A two‑year associate degree or higher in an applied science or equivalent military trainingDemonstrated competency to perform operational verification procedures, planned maintenance, and repair service on various medical equipmentUnderstanding of regulatory agencies' requirements, industry regulatory requirements and International Organization for Standardization standardsFamiliarity with the setup and application of test equipmentAbility to read, analyze, and interpret technical literature, schematics, and drawingsLevel III experience – a minimum of five years of hospital or healthcare experience performing medical equipment maintenanceMust be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the futureMust be able to obtain and maintain the required federal public trust clearance for this roleMust provide proof of COVID vaccination and flu vaccination during flu season, or appropriate documentation supporting a medical or religious exemptionCompensation:Salary range: $63,000 – $80,000.
