We currently operate four nurse-managed clinics, and two victim advocacy program centers.WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?We are searching for a Per diem Mobile Health Dental Assistant to join our Moorhead, MN team. This is a per diem position with a flexible schedule based on mobile health operations and community need. Work is performed exclusively in mobile unit and community-based settings. Hours may include daytime mobile clinic coverage, outreach activities, and occasional evening, after-hours, and weekend events as needed.Duties:Participates in mobile health missions and community-based outreach activities on an as-needed basis to support the communities served by Community Health Service Inc.Sterilize instruments according to regulationsProvides patients with oral hygiene education and post-procedure care instructions in mobile and community-based settings.Undertake lab tasks as instructedProvide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructionsKeep the dental room clean and well-stockedManage inventory and ordering of suppliesSupports patient flow, registration, and care coordination during mobile dental clinic operations and outreach events.Maintain accurate patient records and assist with payment proceduresProven experience as dental assistantKnowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methodsExperience using Eagle soft is preferred but not requiredGood computer skillsExcellent communication and people skillsAttention to detailWell-organized and reliableARE YOU A GOOD FIT?In addition to being a wonderful team member, we are seeking an individual with the below qualifications:PHYSICAL ABILITIESIn an eight hour workday, the employee must be able to: bend and crouch occasionally, sit continuously and stand or walk frequently.Employee must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.Employee must be able to use hands/arms, feet/legs for repetitive fine to large motor skill movements.Qualifications:Certified in MN or graduating from dental assistant school is preferredKnowledge/Skills/Abilities:Certification for other duties as required by the state practice actMaintain annual OSHA, HIPAA, and Infection Control training as required by lawExcellent verbal and written communication skillsVersed in Eagle Soft is highly preferredStrong multi-tasking and organizational skillsAbility to work well in a fast-paced environmentKnowledge of all company policies and rulesREADY TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE?If this role is a great fit for your skills & personality, please complete our quick online application on the right side of the page.PLEASE NOTE:CHSI is an EEO/Affirmative Action/Veteran friendly employer.
